As the Principal of OSE, Lawrence leads the design and delivery processes so critical to the successful delivery of technology driven projects. Lawrence’s special areas of expertise and interests include integrated building services design development from concept to documentation, budgeting, contract planning, tender preparation and adjudication, project management and construction phase supervision of specialised security, electrical and communications installations as well as multi discipline projects and SCEC Zone projects.
Lawrence has broad experience in building technology in Industrial, Commercial and Retail developments, communications infrastructure, security management, risk assessments and security system design which adds valuable dimensions to his electrical engineering skills.Lawrence is a leader in the delivery of Integrated Communication Networks technology on structured cabling systems in commercial, industrial and retail developments. Having completed the assignment
for Westfield as Building Services Architect for a $1.2 billion project, Lawrence has the practical experience required to support the delivery of successful integrated building services projects.
Lawrence is a Chartered Professional Engineer, registered on the National Professional Engineers Register, the Board of Engineering-Queensland and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia as well as a SCEC Endorsed security consultant and a Greenstar Certified Professional.
His skills in managing multi discipline projects and teams have been well proven both locally and internationally.
Lawrence excels in the skills and design processes that developers and building contractors require to deliver all Mechanical, Electrical, Fire and Hydraulics Building Services in an extremely cost effective manner, requiring either a Design and Construct delivery model or the traditional full design and tender process that is used to procure full contracting services. The Omnisystems Team provides the design support so critical to the delivery phase of a project.
Lawrence has over 30 years’ experience in the building services consulting field. His involvement with major projects in Southern Africa, Australia and Hawaii has given him extensive experience and insight into the development of major production facilities, integrated intelligent buildings, campus type infrastructure and large integrated security systems.
